Received an unsolicited invitation via mail to try Harrington's ham. Checked it out online & it looked really yummy so I placed placed my order. SUPPOSEDLY you can choose the week you want it delivered so I chose the week before Thanksgiving however it kept reverting to the week prior to that so I called Harrigton's and personally spoke to customer service telling her what was happening.. She said they saw the problem I was having & she told me she FIXED it. Stupid me believed her. The ham arrived a week prior to when I wanted it & when I called Harrington's the witch who answered the phone said "you placed your order online & that's the date you selected". She was in send mode & never got to receive mode. It was obvious she didn't care what I had to say about the date.. Anyway I'm stuck. Had to freeze the ham which is exactly what I didn't want to do and why I wanted it the week before Thanksgiving. I wasn't thrilled with the cob smoked bacon that came as a freebie with the ham but it wasn't awful. The freebie cheese that came with the ham was good!. I also ordered (it wasn't free) the lemon squares. The lemon squares were AWFUL. Barely any lemon taste whatsoever and very doughy. They were expensive and they ended up in the trash. I'm now really worried about my ham and not sure if I should plan on serving it. I will post another review once we try the ham and if it's good I'll say so but no matter what happens I will never, and I mean never order from Harrington's again and will tell everyone I know about my experience with that customer service woman who answers their phone.. My experience is that it was a waste of good money. I sincerely hope others are having a better experience.

I still think "HARRINGTON'S HOUSE OF PORK" would be a better name, but they won't listen to me.

NEVER EVER AGAIN will I send their food to anyone....Let me see perishable food that says it on the box and their idea of express is to have it riding around for a full day on an 87 degree day in a hot van...they would rather scold the customer than UPS(which BTW had on their tracking that it was in Orlando,FL and sat for a day because we didn't have premium delivery service purchased) WE purchased that but Harrington's doesn't send perishable food next day? Someone ought to get a raise for that policy....poison the customers with thawed foods that contain milk and pork products with 2 day shipping!

I have used them to send products to myself,family and customers many times. This time I had the products sent to my address in Florida. I could only choose 2 day air delivery as the soonest. This made me uneasy as I know UPS is known to drive around all day with the products in a hot van that isnt cooled. Harrington's customer service was smug at best,arguing with me...after the product(perishable) was warm and thawed out. But they knew better starting with Sarah and then her manager. I wouldn't give as gifts and certainly wouldn't poison my 9 year old,they argued there wasn't an issue? I said I want a refund,they gave me a hard time and then on;y did a partial refund. They tried to scold me with "we will take you off our mailing list so you can't order" nice customer service technique!
